Founded in 2007 by Lauren O'Donnell, Flamenco Boston shares the art of flamenco throughout New England in performances, educational programs, workshops, and community events. Each performance brings together a unique combination of musicians, singers, and dancers, reflecting the collaborative and improvisational spirit at the heart of flamenco.

Flamenco originated in the cultural crossroads of southern Spain, drawing influence from Andalusian, Moorish, Sephardic Jewish, and Romani traditions.  Now under the direction of guitarist Anthony Tiriti Tran, Flamenco Boston has appeared at theaters, libraries, museums, universities, festivals, and community spaces throughout the region, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, MIT, Harvard University, Northeastern University, and Boston University.
