Celebrate Hispanic Heritage with the young musicians of Boston String Academy as their children’s and youth orchestras perform outdoors on the greenspace in front of the Mosesian Center for the Arts entrance on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 AM. Guests are invited to bring chairs or blankets for seating and stay afterward for a community potluck.
Boston String Academy is a non-profit organization providing rigorous string instrument instruction to children in under-served communities. The program is based on the Venezuelan El Sistema philosophy that utilizes music as a vehicle for social change.
The event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you RSVP to help us plan for attendance.
Free parking available in the East Garage.
In case of rain or inclement weather, this event will move into the Mosesian Center for the Arts lobby.
