Intro to Technical Theater // Playmaking

Intro to Technical Theater

From concept to performance, each aspect of technical theater plays a part in creating a dynamic production. Step behind the scenes and learn scenic painting techniques, design costume renderings and stage makeup, create light plots, Foley sound effects, props, and more. With this foundational experience participants may apply to be crew members for season productions. 

Playmaking

Learn about the process of storytelling for the stage. Experiment with playwriting and acting to create characters, rehearse scenes and perform for each other.

Extended day programming from 3-5 pm is available Monday-Thursday. Families must register separately for these additional hours. There is no extended day on Fridays.
