Painted Paper Collage Workshop

Registration Opens March 4 at 6:00 PM

Painted paper collage is a way to make dynamic, colorful images in a quick way adding in drawing for details. We’ll look first at the work of other collage artists for inspiration. Then, in the first hour, we’ll learn to paint richly painted colored papers using opaque watercolor. From there we’ll proceed to make observational collages using plants and still lives as our focus. We’ll explore the use of color, composition and contrast.
