Teen Musical Institute (3 weeks) • August 3-21

Teen Musical Institute offers teen performers the opportunity to sharpen their performance skills as they collaborate towards a fully-staged performance of Pippin in our Black Box! There's magic to do when a prince learns the true meaning of glory, love and war in Stephen Schwartz's iconic and unforgettable musical masterpiece. This three-week program focuses on character creation, text analysis, musicality, and movement. Participants will perform for family and friends on August 20 at 7:00 PM. For all programs, participants should pack and bring a nut-free lunch and snacks each day as well as a reusable water bottle. We also strongly encourage a change of clothing to be kept on hand in a backpack in case of emergencies. All programs are hands on, and participants should wear clothing in which they can move freely and participate in art activities, as well as play outdoors (weather-permitting) during choice times.
