3D Sculpture & Mixed Media

Gr. 6-8 (grade entering Fall 2026)

Design and construct sculptures in this hands-on class. Using polymer and air dry clay, paper mache and found objects, create figures, creatures and abstract art from scratch. Mix colorful paints, oil pastels, paper, and 3D elements on paper, wood, canvas, and fabric.

For all programs, participants should pack and bring a nut-free lunch and snacks each day as well as a reusable water bottle. We also strongly encourage a change of clothing to be kept on hand in a backpack in case of emergencies. All programs are hands on, and participants should wear clothing in which they can move freely and participate in art activities, as well as play outdoors (weather-permitting) during choice times.
