Comics & Illustration

Gr. 6-8 (grade entering Fall 2026)

Create your own comics and illustrations through storytelling and drawing. Whether you are influenced by manga, Marvel, or your own favorite book, sharpen your skills as you develop characters and the worlds they live in. Participants will be able to construct their own mini books and portfolios to share.

For all programs, participants should pack and bring a nut-free lunch and snacks each day as well as a reusable water bottle. We also strongly encourage a change of clothing to be kept on hand in a backpack in case of emergencies. All programs are hands on, and participants should wear clothing in which they can move freely and participate in art activities, as well as play outdoors (weather-permitting) during choice times.
