Off-Kendrik is organizing the fourth SAATh theater festival on November 21-23rd at the Mosesian Center for the Arts, Watertown. SAATh is a celebration of coming together of diverse communities in South Asia and beyond through theater and story-telling. As the world around us gets more challenging and complex, Off-Kendrik has realized the necessity of creating a platform for opening dialogues and building partnerships between communities.
The fourth SAATh Festival continues to explore the role of artists and their responsibilities in our community through theater. This year we have dedicated the Inauguration and the opening evening to women artists and their creative pursuits and challenges. We continue our support of multilingual South Asian Theater groups in the Greater Boston area with five new productions from the Boston area, as well as through collaboration with 4 theater groups from outside Massachusetts. We are also bringing high quality, thought provoking diverse theater in collaboration with Indian Heritage and Cultural Association, NJ as part of Natya Darpan, Boston.
Our ticket prices are at different levels to reflect our commitment to the propagation of Theater and Arts and as well as to create an opportunity to support arts and communities beyond theater.
