Brighten up your cold winter night by joining us for the January installment of our new series of open mic nights in the MCA lobby and art gallery! Our November event kicked off with 14 amazing acts including music, comedy, poetry, and more. The January theme, as we start off the new year and continue to grow this new series, is “Beginnings.” Who knows what new talents we'll discover this time? This time around we are featuring local clarinet virtuoso Milos Bjelica, and the program will be hosted by Marija Draskic Brancazio and Willow Green.

The event is general admission, with some tables for sitting, some tables for standing, and maybe even a bit of a dance floor. Sign up to perform or come and enjoy the show on Wednesday, January 24. The doors open at 7:00 PM, and beer, wine, canned cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the show. Music starts at 7:30 PM!

NOTE: We are no longer accepting applications for the January Open Mic! If you've already signed up, we will reach out to confirm the placement of the act during the set.

Please note that all participants and audience members should get a ticket - this is our way of maintaining the event and supporting the arts center. This is an inclusive event, and our goal is to provide accessibility to everyone who might want to participate.
