Created for Mosesian Arts by Alli Tresher.
Learn about Hanukkah using all five senses! Listen to klezmer music, smell delicious treats cooking in oil, see dancers lighting up the stage! Taste chocolate gelt and explore with friends in this fabulous family-friendly program. Participants will enjoy a brief stage performance and story followed by interactive activities and arts and crafts.
Tickets for this all-ages event are General Admission and Pay-What-You-Can. Choose the price that's right for you! Proceeds from ticket sales offset the cost of this event, and support MCA Education Programming.
Alli Thresher (they/them) is an award-winning writer, performer, producer and storyteller. By day, Alli is the Director of Digital Content for PJ Library, a global nonprofit and program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation that brings Jewish stories to children and families all over the world. When they're not creating podcasts, videos, and special storytelling resources for families with PJ Library, Alli is also the founder and host of Storytime With Drag Kings, Queens, and Friends--a roving pop-up story time and events company that offers entertainment for kids (and grown-ups) as well as trainings for educators and caregivers. In their small pockets of free time, Alli chases after their two kids, is involved with their shul, and is perfecting their Hanukkah donut stick recipe.
