Nature-Inspired Art Workshop Series

Registration opens August 5, 6 pm

Workshop One- Drawing

Students will be inspired from and be able to explore drawing nature still-life within the studio classroom, using drawing pencils, graphite crayon, watercolor paints and watercolor pencils. 

Workshop Two: Painting

Students will be inspired from their drawings in Workshop One to make a painted collage that represents their nature still-life. Tempera paint, watercolor pencils and oil pastels will be the art mediums used and explored in this workshop.  

Workshop Three: Embroidery

Each student will design and make an embroidery image representation of their detailed nature-based picture. Using a felt backing and the embroidery hoop as a canvas, each student will turn their nature-inspired embroidery into a decorative design, with each design unique to the student!
