CYC PROGRAM

Like a Cyclorama (or Cyc) curtain enclosing a stage to create a background, our CYC program serves as the basis for all technical theater and production work. Participants explore all aspects of technical and production-based theater, work alongside professional designers, and have the opportunity to lead a technical or production process for WCT programs. CYC participants also receive priority consideration to serve as crew members for season productions.

CYC Level 2 – Apprenticeship

Gr. 8–12

Registration opens August 5, 6 pm

Priority Registration Date for CYC 2 - September 9

Prerequisite: CYC Level 1 or equivalent experience. This program is scheduled individually with mentors. Participants choose a major and minor focus, and set specific project goals so they may confidently contribute to a production process. Selection of focus areas may be subject to mentor availability and production needs, and can include:
