Reopened as of November 2021, our highest priority is the health and safety of all people entering, performing, and working in our arts center.
We review these policies weekly, so please continue to check this page for the most up to date information and safety protocols. We will notify all ticket holders and update this page as adjustments are made. For COVID-19 safety guidelines specific to our educational programs, please click here.
Updated: June 10, 2022
Masking and Vaccination
• As of June 10, 2022, safety protocols may vary by performance. Certain performances may still require masks and/or proof of vaccination for entry. Be sure to visit your specific show's event details page prior to each performance for the most up-to-date information and policies. Please also carefully read pre-performance emails (generally sent one day before performances) for important information pertaining to your performance.
• For the safety of our staff, performers, and other guests, we do encourage wearing masks throughout the facility.
• Please note that our Watertown Children’s Theatre performances follow the MCA Education COVID Safety Plan. See COVID-19 safety guidelines for educational programs here.
• We request that all staff, volunteers, and visitors self-assess and voluntarily stay home if they show symptoms of COVID-19 and have not tested negative. In such cases, we will be glad to assist ticket holders in rescheduling for another performance or event.
Contactless Ticketing and Purchases
• Physical tickets will not need to be handed over for entry. We encourage the use of phones or electronic devices to show tickets.
• For performances with program books, digital copies are now published with printed copies available upon request. We ask that audience members properly dispose of or take any printed program book home with them.
Concessions
• We will determine closer to each event date whether concessions will be sold. If they are, food and drink may be limited to the lobby and bar areas and not allowed in the theaters. As always, outside food and drink will not be allowed in the theaters.
• We encourage the use of a debit/credit card or exact change for purchases on site.
Sanitizing, Disinfecting, and Air Quality
• Hand sanitizing stations are available in the building.
• Main restroom fixtures on the first floor are now touch-free.
• In addition to renovations to increase usable public space, HVAC systems have been upgraded using highly-rated MERV-13 filters, and adjustments have been made to improve circulation and to allow more fresh air to enter the system.
The Mosesian Center for the Arts reserves the right to adjust these requirements and guidelines if and when public health, Federal, State, and/or local regulations and recommendations change.
