Call to Artists: Five Stars Regional Exhibition

The Mosesian Center for the Arts invites artist members of the art associations from Dedham, Needham, Newton, Watertown and Wellesley to submit original artwork for the upcoming Five Stars Regional Exhibit. The title of “Five Stars” for the exhibit is based on the five art associations that are collaborating and exhibiting together as a unique first. Our goal is to provide a juried and judged exhibit opportunity for artist members that will be open and accessible to the public.

Member artists are invited to submit original artworks in the following mediums: painting, drawing, and printmaking. The mediums that are not eligible are digital art, photography and 3-D art. Prints / reproductions of original artwork are not eligible. The artwork should have been created in the last five years and not previously displayed at the Mosesian Center for the Arts. All art work must be the artist’s original design in concept and execution (e.g., from life or from the artist's own idea or reference photo; completely executed by the artist’s own hand. No size limitation.

The exhibition will take place in the Mosesian gallery spaces located on the first and second floors which are handicap-accessible. $1000 In Cash Awards will be announced at the Reception on April 12th at the Mosesian Center for the Arts.
